I know, this is so much easier said than done. I get it. So let’s break the graphic down to create a practical application as to how to overcome procrastination in achievable increments. The key is that when you learn how to manage your time you actually learn to manage your life.
Think in years. Long term goals are necessary for the continuity of your personal and professional growth. It’s what you do in the time between those goals set that make the ultimate difference.
Work in months. This is where you set benchmarks toward your long-term goals. Set both monthly goals and quarterly goals for maximum efficiency. Do this electronically in your phone or get a journal/planner to hold yourself accountable and track your progress one day at time.
Live in days. Plan your activities for each day around your goals AND to achieve balance, make sure you allow free time for yourself, time to spend with your family, spouse/significant other and fun activities for all. The key word here is LIVE!
